She won the PTNA Piano Competition in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. She also appeared at the Salle Cortot in Paris, the Svetlanov Hall in Moscow, and Suntory Hall in Japan before she was 20.

Family Life
Her parents encouraged her to begin piano when she was only three. She was playing with an orchestra by the age of seven, and she began studying with Yuko Ninomiya at age eight.
