Guitarist most well known as a member of the now-defunct rock band The Black Crowes. After leaving the band in 1991, he formed the band Bitter Pills and would go on to join Bucky Covington’s band after American Idol.

He co-founded The Black Crowes in 1989 with brothers Chris and Rich Robinson, Johnny Colt, and Steve Gorman.
